Readable terms for restaurant allergen-information software.

These Terms apply to use of Food Allergy Chart. By using the site, public guest guide, or management workspace, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.

The service is intended for restaurant operators, authorized restaurant staff, business reviewers, and guests reviewing restaurant-published allergen information. Account features are for users who are authorized to manage the relevant restaurant or business workspace.

Food Allergy Chart helps restaurants organize menu and allergen information, review catalog and store details, publish guest-facing allergy guides, and support search, filtering, QR-style sharing, staff sheets, imports, and configured menu-source review.

The service is an informational publishing tool. It does not provide medical, dietary, allergy-treatment, emergency, or safety advice. It does not guarantee that a menu item is safe for any person.

Allergens, ingredients, recipes, availability, preparation practices, shared equipment, and cross-contact risks can change. Guests should make their own decisions, speak with restaurant staff where appropriate, and take precautions suitable for their needs.

Restaurant customers and account users are responsible for the menu, recipe, ingredient, allergen, availability, store-note, publication, and cross-contact information they enter, import, review, approve, or publish through the service.

Account features exist in the product. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials secure, using the service only for authorized workspaces, and notifying the operator if they believe their account or permissions have been misused.

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access accounts or workspaces without authorization, upload unlawful or misleading content, reverse engineer protected parts of the platform, or use the service to publish information you do not have the right to use.

Food Allergy Chart and its software, design, and platform materials are owned by the operator or its licensors. Restaurants keep responsibility for their own menu and business content, and grant the operator permission to host, process, display, and publish that content as needed to operate the service.

If you provide ideas or feedback, the operator may use them to improve the service without owing compensation, provided it does not claim ownership of your underlying restaurant content.

The service may rely on hosting, database, authentication, storage, and menu-source providers visible in the product architecture, including Netlify, PostgreSQL infrastructure, Better Auth, Netlify Blobs, and configured online-menu source requests. Those services may change or be unavailable.

Features may change, be unavailable, require configuration, be limited to selected accounts, or be discontinued as the product evolves. The operator should not rely on the service as the only source of operational allergen procedures.

Access may be suspended or terminated if an account is unauthorized, misuses the service, publishes improper content, creates operational risk, or if the service is changed or discontinued.

The service is provided as available and without unsupported guarantees. The operator does not promise that allergen information is complete, current, error-free, suitable for a guest's health needs, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

To the extent allowed by law, the operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made from restaurant-published allergen information. Any liability limits should be reviewed with counsel once the operator and launch model are confirmed.

Business users are responsible for claims arising from their menu information, allergen information, published guides, user permissions, or misuse of the service. Final indemnity language should be reviewed once the legal operator and customer model are confirmed.

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

These Terms may be updated as the product develops. The effective date is updated when material changes are published, and continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
